So, my mom's got cataracts in both her eyes and the doc mentioned surgery was an option. Back when we discussed it, her blood sugar was stable. But now, her fasting blood sugar's at 142 and the post-meal is 138. With these levels, is it still safe to go ahead with the operation?

I'm noticing that when I close my right eye, I see a blurred image with my left eyeit's like half of what I'm seeing is clear and the other half is not. Also, sometimes my ear starts to hurt and the pain feels like it pulses at the same time in both my ear and eye. It's not something that happens all the time, but it's becoming a concern for me. What could this be?
