So, my mom's got cataracts in both her eyes and the doc mentioned surgery was an option. Back when we discussed it, her blood sugar was stable. But now, her fasting blood sugar's at 142 and the post-meal is 138. With these levels, is it still safe to go ahead with the operation?

I'm Nikhil and I'm from Bangalore. I'm 28 and I've developed this swollen bump on my upper eyelid on the right side. It's a bit itchy and I feel some pain, especially towards the edge.
