Is there any truth to the idea that growing or shaving a beard can affect height at around 15.7 years old? Also, what exactly is the age of puberty? I'm a bit curious and confused about how these things are related.

Growing a beard at the age of 15.7 does not directly affect your height. Height is primarily determined by genetics and the growth plates in your bones, which usually close around the age of 18 to 21. Puberty typically starts between ages 10 and 14 for girls and 12 to 16 for boys, during which growth and physical changes occur.

View allMy 80-year-old grandma has toxic multinodular goiter her thyroid scan showed high uptake, T3 and T4 are elevated, and TSH is very low. The doctor suggested neomercazole for six weeks followed by surgery, but she's hesitant about the operation. She's had an enlarged thyroid for years with no swallowing or breathing issues, just some breathlessness when walking. Could medication alone manage her hyperthyroidism, or is surgery really necessary in her case? She's worried about going under the knife at her age. Also, should we start the neomercazole as prescribed?

I'm really worried because my blood sugar is higher than it's ever been. I'm already on BP meds and I'm overweight. Should I think about starting medication for my sugar levels now? Is it even possible to get my levels back to normal at this point?
It's most likely diabetes and you should start medicines for the same. Better to confirm the sugar levels once again before starting medicines.

I'm dealing with PCOD and some years ago, I took Zolfresh a couple of times. I got shivering hands back then and now, after so long, I took a 5 mg dose again yesterday, and my hands are really shaky. What should I do?
Dont take that tablet anymore, consume more water and will settle down in a day,if it still continues visit Physician for appropriate management.
