I've been dealing with a chronic belching problem ever since my first chest tube 3 years ago. This week, I was back in the hospital with another chest tube, and interestingly enough, I barely burped at all while I was there. Now that I'm back home, the burping has started up again, and it's painful to take a deep breath. I'm really worried my lung might have collapsed again. Could these issues be connected?
