Three months ago, I underwent bypass surgery. Recent blood tests show an INR of 4. My doctor has advised taking Acitrom 1 mg. Could you please explain what this means and if this treatment is appropriate?

INR raised is suggesting that blood is clotting not properly hence the dose of Acitrom should be checked by your doctor and reduced accordingly. Repeat INR and clotting factors blood test . Rest precautions of not bleeding due to injury should be kept in mind
