Urine culture with sensitivity helps choose the right antibiotic for a current UTI. However, bacteria and resistance patterns may change, so do not reuse the same antibiotics without a new test if symptoms return. Use antibiotics only when prescribed.

Hi Doctor, for the past five days I have been suffering from a urinary infection. The doctor at the nearest hospital advised me to undergo a urine routine and culture test. The routine test came out normal, and the culture report is still awaited. Meanwhile, I had an ultrasound done, which suggested cystitis and an ovarian cyst on the right side.
