Fibroids of this size are small to moderate. Some can be managed with medication, but impact on fertility depends on location. Please consult a gynecologist.

Hello Doctor, I am 18 years old. I did not get my period until the age of 16. At that time, a doctor prescribed some medication to help start my periods. After taking the tablets, I got my period only once, and then it stopped again. However, for the past two months, I have been getting my period 3 to 4 times a month. It stops for just 2 to 3 days and then starts again. My recent blood report shows that my prolactin levels are high. Please help me understand what might be causing this and what treatment I may need?

The doctor said this indicates polycystic ovarian disease. Will this affect my chances of getting pregnant?
