Wanted to ask how long after a 5-day embryo transfer I might start feeling any pregnancy symptoms. Is it normal if I don't feel any changes by day 7? Does everyone feel symptoms at this point, or is it different for each person? Just a bit anxious about what to expect.

Pregnancy symptoms can vary from person to person, and not everyone will experience them. Some women may start to notice early pregnancy symptoms as early as 6-8 days after embryo transfer, while others may not experience any symptoms until later on. It is important to remember that every woman's body is different. If you are not experiencing any symptoms at this point, it is still early in the process. It is best to wait a little longer and continue to monitor any changes in your body. If you are concerned, you can speak with your healthcare provider for further guidance. In the meantime, make sure you are following any post-embryo transfer instructions provided by your fertility specialist.

I'm really concerned about my journey trying to conceive - it's been 23 months of trying, and I'm getting worried. My periods are regular, and all my blood tests, like TSH and prolactin, have come back normal. The only thing is my blood sugar is in the pre-diabetic range. Now I've found out about this myometrial cyst, and I'm wondering if it could be affecting my ability to conceive. Could this be a reason for the delay, and what should I do about it?

A myometrial cyst is a benign fluid-filled cyst in the muscle layer of the uterus, usually not related to fertility issues. Since your periods are regular and other tests are normal, it's a good sign, but pre-diabetes can affect fertility. It's a good idea to manage your blood sugar levels for better chances of conception.

Can gynecomastia be treated without surgery and does it really cause infertility in men who have it

Gynecomastia, or enlarged male breast tissue, can sometimes be treated without surgery, particularly in cases of mild or early-stage gynecomastia, or when it's caused by excess body fat (pseudogynecomastia). However, more severe or glandular-based gynecomastia often requires surgical intervention. While gynecomastia itself doesn't directly cause infertility, a hormonal imbalance that contributes to gynecomastia can sometimes also affect fertility.
