We're planning to start trying for a baby and I'm wondering if it's okay to take Supradyn and Folvite tablets for one to two months before we begin. Can you give some advice on whether this is a good idea?

View allI'm a bit worried and need some advice. My husband has been getting treatment for lymph node tuberculosis for the past 9 months, but he stopped the medication 10 days ago and seems to be better now. We've been married for a year and I've been wondering if it's okay to try to conceive during his TB treatment. Now my period's late and I'm not sure if I'm pregnant. Is there a risk with his recent medication, or is it safe for us to start planning for a baby?
It's generally safe to conceive if your husband has completed treatment for lymph node TB and is cured. If he was still on medication, it might have been advisable to consult your doctor for guidance. Since your periods are delayed, take a pregnancy test to confirm, and consult your gynecologist for further advice.
