View allIve been dealing with a cough and cold for a few days and recently had a fever that went up to around 100.5F. It only lasted for a bit and went down after taking pcm. My doctor suggested a blood test and it turns out my ESR is at 40, though my hemoglobin and platelet count are normal. I'm confused and a bit worried about why my ESR is high. The doctor told me to take azithromycin for 5 days. Is there something serious going on with this high ESR?

I'm wondering if it's better to take a diclomol tablet for pain before or after meals. Also, what does SOS mean in medical terms?

I'm really concerned about my sister. She was just diagnosed with dengue yesterday, and it was her first day of having a fever. The doctor prescribed pcm and pan, but her fever hasn't come down at all. Her temperature is stuck at 104.6, and her platelet count is 2 lakhs. Should I be worried? Also, any suggestions on what she can eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that might be suitable for her? She's 30 years old and currently experiencing full body pain, saying her body is burning. I'm really anxious since she hasn't eaten anything yet. Is there something I can do to help her feel better? And is it okay to give her solo again now since I gave her some at 9 pm last night?
