What are the features of a normal urine?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Normal urine should be clear, pale to light yellow in color, and not foul-smelling. However, some foods or medications may change the smell or color of urine.

View allHello Doctor, good evening. I got my urine test and blood test done today and received the reports. In urine examination, proteins were positive. In the blood report, total blood count was 5.1 with reference 3.8 to 4.8, MCH was 26 with reference 27 to 32, MCHC was 30 with reference 31.5 to 34.5, white blood count was 17,570 with reference 4,000 to 10,000, and lymphocytes were 14 with reference 20 to 40. Could you please advise what these readings indicate and suggest appropriate medication?

Earlier, my urine was foamy, and a previous urine report showed trace amounts of protein. So, I underwent further urine tests including USG Abdomen & Pelvis and microalbumin tests. I have attached these reports and would appreciate help in understanding if everything is okay now. Currently, my urine is clear.
