What foods help repair lungs?
More Pulmonology/ Respiratory Medicine Health Queries
View allI'm wondering if regular exercise might help with the occasional pain and discomfort I still feel in my lungs after finishing my pulmonary TB treatment. My sputum test came back negative, and the test was done during a bronchoscopy. Do you think there's any specific exercise that would be beneficial? I'm really hoping to avoid going back on medication. My treatment wrapped up in July 2021.

I sometimes feel a heaviness in my breathing, especially in the evenings. But when I try running or jogging for around 10 minutes, I don't get breathless or experience a shortness of breath. Is it possible that I have asthma? Im wondering if people with asthma can still run like that. Could you help me understand what might be going on?

I'm a bit confused about the steam from nebulizers. I recently got the Dr. Trust nebulizer, and it gives off cold steam. Isn't the steam supposed to be hot? The evaporation of the medicine seems to work fine according to the manual, but I'm still concerned if this is normal. Could you help clarify this for me?
For a nebulizer like Dr. Trust, the steam provided should be a fine, cool mist, not hot steam, as cool mist is more comfortable to inhale and helps prevent irritation to the airways, so the cold steam produced by your nebulizer is appropriate and effective for delivering medication.
