View allI've been feeling really dizzy when I stand up or turn around, and my blood pressure is at 11374 when I'm sitting. I've got asthma, fibromyalgia, and issues with low iron. A few weeks ago, I had a massive ear infection that landed me in the hospital with a high temperature and asthma problems. Now I'm also dealing with a cold and my asthma's acting up. Is it possible that my asthma or iron issues could be making my blood pressure lower than usual, since it's typically around 12080?
Hello...the b.p of 11374 is fine...it is not low to cause giddiness. Your giddiness could be due to anaemia as you mentioned iron issues, you will know it getting a complete blood picture done. Another reason for giddiness could be secondary to your ear infection.

I've been taking Evion LC because it was prescribed to me, but I've been feeling a bit down since starting it. Do you think I should try switching to Evion 400?
It is unlikely that the symptoms of depression you are experiencing could be related to Evion LC. Evion LC contains a combination of Vitamin E and Levocarnitine. You can discuss with your doctor about switching to Evion 400, which contains only Vitamin E. The usual dosage of Evion 400 is 400 IU once daily. However, it is important to consult with your doctor before making any changes to your medication regimen.

I'm wondering if fasting is necessary for a Vitamin B12 blood test. I had mine done about 3 hours after lunch, and now I'm second-guessing whether that might have affected the results. Should I think about getting it retested?
A Vitamin B12 blood test does not typically require fasting. It is usually safe to have the test done at any time of the day, regardless of when you last ate. Since you had the test done 3+ hours after lunch, there is no need for a retest. The results should still provide valuable information about your Vitamin B12 levels.
