I'm 10 weeks pregnant and recently had an incomplete abortion, so I went through a D&C procedure on June 9th. Now, I've noticed there's some swelling in my abdomen, and it's quite painful. I only had bleeding for 2 to 3 days after the D&C. Is this normal? Should I be worried?

Swelling and pain in the abdomen can be common after a D&C procedure. However, if the symptoms are severe or persistent, it is important to consult with your healthcare provider. In the meantime, you can take Ibuprofen 400mg every 6 hours as needed for pain relief. Make sure to rest and avoid strenuous activities. How many days after period can you not get pregnant?
