Most of the time, the blood glucose level will be 125 mg/dL (6.9 mmol/L) or lower.Random glucose test is done post eating a meal and if the levels are not within range then medications are given to control blood glucose levels.

View allI was suffering from frequent urination. The doctor advised checking urine for UTI and blood sugar. Urine report was normal, but random blood sugar was 240. The doctor asked to repeat sugar tests: fasting 143 and post meal 190. Then the doctor suggested Glycomet tablets. I do not want to start medicine. Please advise on food precautions and home remedies to keep diabetes under control. I am 38 years old. Please also tell if diabetes will affect fertility treatment. Thank you.
