More COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT (CBC) Health Queries
View allI received my CBC report today. My platelet count has increased from 100,000 to 135,000 in three days. I do not have a fever, and I am eating and drinking well. The only issue is that I am feeling chills. Could this be due to low platelets? Despite this, I am performing three rounds of push ups (15 each with 30 second rests). Please advise if the chills are related to low platelet count.

My mother is suffering from dengue and she is admitted in ICU in hospital. Her blood count is 5000 only. One transfusion of platelets has already been done and now we are waiting for the next blood report. What should be done in this condition? What precautions need to be taken?
