Will fistula surgery affect my sex life in the long run I'm 25 and scheduled for the procedure but worried if things will go back to normal after recovery or if there will be any changes

Fistula surgery typically doesn't affect sexual function. Full recovery may take weeks, but most resume normal life without issues.

I had a fistula surgery 8 months ago which went well but now I have a small fissure again. My surgeon checked with a finger test and just advised me to eat a balanced diet and keep my stool soft. My question is - is it okay if I only clean the outside after passing stool and not put my finger inside to clean like doctors do during the anal exam? I'm worried that inserting a finger might cause infection in the fissure and lead to another fistula

Post-fistula surgery fissure cleaning externally is sufficient.Resisting internal cleaning is okay;if symptoms worsen, consult your surgeon.

I'm having a tough time dealing with pain after using the washroom for about a month now. I saw my GP, and he diagnosed me with a fissure and gave me some meds like CiploxTzH and Rinifol, plus Smuth Laxative and Anovate cream. A week later, the pain was a bit better, but I got worried and went to see a surgeon. He said I've got a fissure and two Grade III piles, with a lump outside the anus, and suggested surgery. Surgery freaks me out, so I got a second opinion from another surgeon. He also mentioned surgery but said it's not too urgent unless things get worse. He gave me 2Dilgel for the fissure. But when I use it, there's this terrible burning sensation around the lump. He said it should get better in 2-3 days. Is 2Dilgel really good for both fissures and piles? Also, is it okay to use coconut oil internally for fissures? What should be my next steps?

yes u can take 2.. dilgel .

My mom has grade 4 piles with both internal and external hemorrhoids that stay outside all the time. She bleeds a lot and has severe pain during bowel movements. The doctor recommended laser surgery in 3 sessions can this be treated with meds instead or is surgery the only option? Also, is it possible to do it in just one session?
