Can hepatitis B be cured totally?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Most adults with hepatitis B recover fully, even if their signs and symptoms are severe. Infants and children are more likely to develop a chronic (long-lasting) hepatitis B infection. A vaccine can prevent hepatitis B, but there's no cure if you have the condition.

I've been keeping an eye on my bilirubin levels after they were recorded at 1.84 a couple of months ago. They've improved a bit to 1.52, but I can't help but feel anxious because the progress seems slow. Should I be worried about this pace of improvement?

I've been experiencing some unusual bloating in my stomach, especially around and above my belly button. Even a small amount of food makes me feel super full, which is strange because I've never had this problem before. I did have constipation a few months back, but it's not an issue now. I've noticed that my weight has slightly fluctuated toolike I'll gain a little after eating, but then lose it after going to the bathroom. The main thing is, my stomach just feels and looks really bloated. Any ideas on what might be going on?
