Can sharing a comb with an older family member really cause my hair to turn grey? I'm also curious about what other problems might come from sharing a comb with someone else. Should I be worried about hygiene or other health issues?

I've just recently noticed these vertical light pink lines on the nail plate of my middle finger on the left handabout 1mm wide. When I look closely, they seem to be on all my nails. If I press down on them, the lines disappear. Is this something normal, or could it be serious since I've never noticed it before? I'm worried it might be melanoma based on what I've read online.
