Dear Sir, I have hepatomegaly with fatty infiltration and no focal lesion. My liver function tests are normal.

Having hepatomegaly with fatty infiltration means your liver is slightly enlarged and has fat buildup commonly seen in people with poor diet, sedentary lifestyle, or alcohol use. The good news is that your liver function tests are normal, which suggests theres no current liver damage. To reverse this condition, focus on eating light, exercising regularly, avoiding alcohol, and managing sugar/cholesterol levels. Its important to repeat liver ultrasound and blood tests once every year.

View allI just received my blood report, which shows SGOT/SGPT levels of 42 and 45.36. What do these values mean? I am currently in the 8th month of pregnancy and hoping for a normal delivery. I have also been diagnosed with gestational diabetes and high blood pressure during this pregnancy. Could you please advise if these liver enzyme levels are concerning and what I should do next?

Hello, my blood report shows SGOT 67. Is this a serious concern? Please suggest what I should do. I had earlier posted a question about a dry cough for the last month, and the doctor advised X-ray and blood tests. Everything came normal except SGOT elevated to 67. I work in the merchant navy, and if this does not get corrected, I may lose my job as I need to be medically fit every time I go on the ship. Please help. I am very worried about my health and job. Someone said there might be swelling in the liver, which is why the SGOT is 67.

I had my blood test done for liver function check and I am uploading the test report. I found one of the test results is outside the normal range mentioned in the report. Is it a problem?
