Dear Sir, my sister is suffering from swelling on her face and legs due to protein leakage in urine. Her 24 hour urine report shows protein 7.43. She does not have high blood pressure or diabetes. Please suggest treatment. She is 34 years old and weighs 50 kg.

This suggests nephrotic syndrome or a glomerular kidney disorder. She must see a nephrologist immediately for treatment and further tests to avoid kidney damage.
Dr. Siri Suggests...
Take a KFT with Electrolytes (Kidney Funtion) Test or Take a ANTI NUCLEAR ANTIBODY (ANA) Test
