Yes, patients have high ESR during TB because of inflammatory cytokines released in the blood which can cause elevated levels of ESR.

Hi doctors, I did my regular blood report which came normal, but my ESR was 25 mm. I do not have any symptoms nor have I had any infection recently. Why is it high if the normal range is 0 to 15? Please suggest. Is it too high? I am worried.

There is pain in my body, joint pain, and severe weakness. The weakness is more after sleeping. My ESR is raised, but all other tests are normal. My urine report is abnormal. All other tests like RA, anti CCP, vitamin D, vitamin B12, sugar, and thyroid are normal except ESR and urine.
