Do you think a chest x-ray would still reveal any signs that my friend was a smoker, even though it's been 4 months since he quit smoking? He used to have 2 cigarettes a day. I'm really curious if any effects might still be visible.

I've been experiencing some light crackling sounds in my right lung base, but only when I lie down stretched out. Even when I hold my breath and push in the central lung area, the crackles tend to come and go. If I shift my position even slightly, they disappear. There's no chest pain, and these crackles are just occasional. Should I be worried about this, or could it be something serious?

I'm really worried about my dadhe's 53 and caught COVID on March 30th. He had a fever for four days, and after talking to the doctor, we did an HRCT of his chest. It showed a mild infection with about 10-15% of lung involvement. The doc gave him some medicine called Ferocort and Syncrobreath, plus a cough syrup. But the thing is, he's still coughing a lot. I'm just wondering, how long do you think it'll take for the cough to get better?

It's gotten to the point where our six-month-old son and I can't sleep either since we all share the same room. I'm really concerned and was wondering if theres a way to help manage his cough so we can all get some rest. What should I do?
