A female patient aged 22 years is in the second trimester and her T3 is 1.90 and T4 is 16. I have attached the lab report also. What is the treatment and is Thyronorm 25 mcg okay or should the dose be increased? Kindly help. Thanks in advance.

These values seem normal. Monitor TSH every 4 to 6 weeks to adjust dose.

View allI recently went for a blood test, and my results were: TSH 143.67 mIU/L, T3 70 ng/dL, and T4 4.8 microgram/dL. On the advice of my family doctor, I repeated the test because there is no history of thyroid issues in my family. The second test showed: T3 1.8 nmol/L, T4 65.7 nmol/L, and TSH 58.6 mIU/L. I am concerned about why the results vary so much. Should I continue consulting my general physician, or should I see a specialist? I am experiencing all the thyroid related symptoms as explained by my doctor. Kindly advise.

I have recently undergone a thyroid test. My TSH and T3 are within the normal range, and T4 is also normal but on the higher side. Is this a cause for concern? I am attaching the lab report for your reference.

My recent blood report shows that my TSH level is 12.04. I am a female, currently weighing 83 kg with a height of 6 feet 7 inches. My doctor has prescribed me 50 mcg of Thyronorm. However, a family member who is also a physician suggested that because my TSH level is quite high, I could take 125 mcg instead. I am confused about the correct dosage and would appreciate your guidance based on the report. Thank you.
