A few months ago, I was diagnosed with PCOD, which improved after taking medication. Since then, I have been trying to lose weight, but progress has been very slow over the past 7 months. My periods are now normal, but my gynecologist is suggesting an AMH test. I am confused about what this test will reveal. How does the AMH test help in understanding PCOD and its potential for recovery or curability?

AMH reflects ovarian reserve, PCOD severity. High in PCOD due to many small follicles. Does not confirm curability, but helps plan treatment. Slow weight loss is common in PCOD. AMH helps in fertility and PCOD management.

View allI have a very low AMH of 0.2 and FSH of 12. My Vitamin D level is also very low. Can AMH improve by taking Vitamin D supplements? I underwent one monitored ovulation cycle, but the follicle did not rupture even after it grew fully. Is there still a chance of natural pregnancy?
