A few months ago, my wife was diagnosed with a thyroid condition. She has been gaining weight very quickly and is experiencing shortness of breath and a racing heartbeat. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should we do?

Fast weight gain and breathlessness needs thyroid recheck and cardiac exam. Could be fluid retention. See endocrinologist.

I had a baby 1.5 years ago via normal forceps delivery. After delivery, I lost significant weight, about 12 kg compared to my pre-pregnancy weight (from 60 kg to 46 kg). Even after weaning, I am unable to gain weight. I also have a movable lump in my breast and had a biopsy done. The doctor did not find anything concerning in the report. Could you please suggest possible reasons for my inability to gain weight and any steps I should take?
