Hello, I am seeking advice regarding my mother. She is currently experiencing severe abdominal pain with a burning sensation, and her blood test shows amylase level of 140 U/L (normal range is 90 U/L). I have attached her blood test report for reference. Please advise on what should be done next. Thank you.

Elevated amylase may indicate pancreatitis or related conditions. Since pain is persistent, urgent review with a doctor is necessary. Do not delay consultation. USG Abdomen is a must.

Sir my amylase is 174 but previously it was always between 100 and 130. I have pain in the middle abdomen with discomfort, irritation and more gas passing. I am very upset. I have been taking medicine for more than 12 months but no benefit. Why has my amylase suddenly increased and I have middle type pain. Is this reversible. Some time ago I was normal but suddenly my lipase level is normal. I always have discomfort and pain. I have taken a lot of alcohol. The doctor says I have esophagus pain. Please help sir. I am submitting my report.
