Hello Sir, I have been experiencing fever for the last 10 days, along with muscle and joint pain. My blood report shows that my monocyte level is elevated to 15. I am very worried, could this be a symptom of something serious like cancer?

A mild increase in monocytes usually points to an ongoing infection or inflammation, not cancer. Since your fever has lasted 10 days, it is important to identify the cause (could be viral, typhoid, dengue, etc.). Cancer is very unlikely based only on raised monocytes.

I was infected with COVID in June. I did not do a second test as my doctor advised it was unnecessary. I have been experiencing a sinus infection for the past 20 to 25 days. My CT PNS report does not show any opacity, so my doctor said it is not black fungus. However, my blood report shows high lymphocyte count. Is this lymphocytosis, or is it normal? Please advise. I have attached my blood test report for reference.

I recently had fever and body pains that did not improve with Dolo and antibiotics, so I visited a doctor for a check up. During this, I found that my hemoglobin has dropped significantly, it was 12.4 six months ago. I am unsure of the reason for this drop and would like to know if my current report is normal.
