Hey, can we take Vitamin D capsules without a doctor's prescription? If it's okay, is it alright to take one weekly in the morning for a month and then stop? Would love your advice on this!

I'm on my 13th day without being able to smell or taste anything, and my nose is still blocked. I tested positive for COVID ten days ago and haven't had symptoms like fever or breathlessness since day one. A doctor suggested I take Ivermectol once daily for three days and Doxy 1 LDR twice a day for five days. Should I go ahead with this? My oxygen levels are between 97 and 99. What do you think?
