Hi doctor my mother has to undergo cataract surgery. In her pre operative urine report her urine showed high pus cells and she received medication for it. After completing a one week course of medication she had her urine lab done again but her pus cells are still high along with high epithelial cells. Is this something very serious? I am attaching her two urine reports before and after her medication. The one marked with a pen is the first report and the one with no pen mark is the latest report.

Persistent pus cells suggest incomplete resolution or resistant bacteria. Epithelial cells may also indicate improper sample. Repeat test with culture helps guide right antibiotic. Meanwhile, stay hydrated and maintain hygiene

Hi doctor, I had a urine routine test because I felt a mild burning sensation in the vaginal area. The report was almost normal, showing 4 to 6 pus cells and 2 to 4 epithelial cells. After a week of taking Niftas 100 mg tablet, I was feeling okay. I also had my period when I started taking this UTI medicine. On the 7th day of my menstrual flow, I did masturbation, and the next hour I saw a few blood spots. My flow had already stopped on the 5th day. Why is there spotting? Is it related to a serious health issue? I still feel mild itching and burning in the vaginal area. Is this an infection? I did another urine test today. The report shows pus cells 2 to 4, epithelial cells 6 to 8, and a few traces of protein (albumin). Please suggest if this is normal or if I need other medicine. I have attached both reports the first week and todays urine report. Please help me?

Hello doctor, I am experiencing extreme pain in my clitoris while urinating. A few weeks ago, my urine test showed a positive result for a urinary tract infection, but I did not take any medication. Now, I am having pain in my clitoris, and my urine is very dark in color, sometimes with blood. I would like to know what might be causing these symptoms and what I should do next.
