Hi, I am 24 years old. I did a hormone test: DHEA is 4.7 microgram/ml, testosterone 56.1 ng/ml, and delta 4 is 4.59 ng/ml. Are these levels normal and what do they mean? By the way, I usually have regular periods except for last month and this month.

Your levels of testosterone, and delta 4 androstenedione are slightly on the higher side for a female. This can indicate mild hormonal imbalance or early PCOS, especially with recent irregular periods. Single values arent diagnostic needs correlation with symptoms and ultrasound. If hair growth, acne, or weight gain is present, evaluation is important.

View allI have been experiencing sudden irregular periods (3 times in the last month), cystic acne on my chin, and weight loss over the past few months. My blood test revealed low iron (report attached). Could you please advise what might be the root cause of these symptoms? Could this be related to a hormonal imbalance? Is the iron deficiency due to internal bleeding or polyps?
