Hi, I am 24 years old. I did a hormone test: DHEA is 4.7 microgram/ml, testosterone 56.1 ng/ml, and delta 4 is 4.59 ng/ml. Are these levels normal and what do they mean? By the way, I usually have regular periods except for last month and this month.

Your levels of testosterone, and delta 4 androstenedione are slightly on the higher side for a female. This can indicate mild hormonal imbalance or early PCOS, especially with recent irregular periods. Single values arent diagnostic needs correlation with symptoms and ultrasound. If hair growth, acne, or weight gain is present, evaluation is important.

My sister, 35 years old, was advised a hormone test due to severe acne. I have attached the results. Is the blood report normal? Does elevated DHEAS require any treatment?
