Hi. I have taken medications one by one. First, I had severe skin problems with pimples. I took three months of treatment, and now the pimples are cleared using medicines and creams. Second, I gained weight suddenly, and my periods became irregular. My blood test showed increased thyroid levels, so I took medicines for that. Next, I am not sure what effects these medicines may have had on me. Now I am thinking about how my skin will look as I get older after stopping these medicines. I need a suggestion to maintain my health in a good way without using any medication?

Long term side effects vary depending on the type of medicines. Stopping after short term use usually causes no harm. Adopt a healthy lifestyle to maintain skin and hormonal balance.

Could you guide me on whether I can have a healthy baby with this high thyroid level at the initial stage? Also, please advise whether my thyroid level could have any impact on my child as he grows up.

I had my full body check up and all the reports were normal except for the TSH test, which showed a value of 6.000 while the normal range is 0.5 to 4.8, which is slightly higher. After seeing this, I found out that I have a thyroid issue. I am eager to understand more about it. Is it bad for my health? Will it last for a lifetime? And how can I get rid of it?
