Question

Hi, I recently had a routine blood test, and I noticed the following results: Urinary microalbumin: 140 UA/C: 73.5 Blood ketone: less than 0.2 HbA1C: 6.4 All other test results appear normal. I am currently taking the following medications for depression: Lithosun SR 400, Qutan 50, Lamitor OD 200, and Prestiq 100. I do not take any other medications.

Your urine microalbumin and ACR levels are elevated, which may point to early kidney stress, especially with HbA1c at 6.4 (prediabetes). Some of your medications may also impact kidney health. Keep sugars in control, stay hydrated, and avoid high salt. Repeat kidney tests and review medications with your doctor.

Dr. Hema Suggests...

Take a KFT with Electrolytes (Kidney Funtion) Test or Take a Urine ACR Test Test
