Hi, last month I had an HSG test, which was normal. This month, I was given an HCG 5000 injection for ovulation. My left ovary released an egg a few days ago. Now, I have sharp pain in my left ovary once a day for 2 to 3 minutes. Is this normal implantation, an ectopic pregnancy, or something else?

Mild sharp pain on the side of ovulation after HCG injection and follicle rupture is common and can occur due to ovulation or corpus luteum formation. It is too early to confirm implantation or rule out ectopic pregnancy now. Monitor for severe pain, dizziness, or heavy bleeding, which need urgent care. To confirm pregnancy and location, do a Serum Beta hCG test 14 days post ovulation and follow up with your doctor if needed.

View allI took Letrozole from day 3 to day 7 of my cycle and ovulated on the 12th day, after which I received an hCG injection on the same day. From day 20 to day 26, I took Duphaston 10 mg. I have not got my period yet, and I have no PMS symptoms so far. My urine pregnancy test came back negative. Is my period delayed because of Duphaston, or is there still a chance that I could be pregnant? How can I confirm this, and until which day should I wait before testing again?

My last period started on 26th July, and my cycles are irregular. I had unprotected intercourse on 15th August. For the past month, I have been feeling tired, dizzy throughout the day, and sometimes nauseous. I took a pregnancy test today, and it was negative. Could there still be a chance of pregnancy, or might these symptoms be due to something else?

I did a pregnancy test, and it is positive. However, I am experiencing mild cramps on both sides of my lower abdomen and some backache. What could be the reason for these symptoms?
