Hi, my son was born on 29th January. He was doing fine until last week. Since then, he has had frequent motions, mostly liquid with tiny white solids. Doctors say he is unable to digest his mothers milk. His occult blood report is positive and reducing agent is also positive. The doctor has suggested feeding him only baby formula. We have consulted two doctors in the past week and are really worried. Please suggest?

These findings suggest lactose intolerance or cow milk protein allergy. Temporary switch to formula as advised, is often done to allow healing. Close pediatric follow up is essential to monitor hydration, weight gain, and stool changes.

View allI have been experiencing sticky and loose stools for some time, and over the past week, my food is not digesting properly. My stomach feels full and bloated, and I also suffer from severe acidity. Recent tests show ESR of 20 and C reactive protein of 4.5, and I have attached two other test reports. Could you please advise what might be causing these symptoms and the next steps for diagnosis or treatment?

Hi sir, I had a gastroscopy done a month ago due to constipation with blood and black flecks in my stools. I have attached my report. If there was bleeding in the upper GI tract, it would have been highlighted in the report, right?
