Hi, in my stool report it is mentioned as alkaline reaction. I want to know if that is normal or not? I have also attached my report for your reference. Regards, Ramya

Yes, alkaline reaction in stool can be normal, especially with vegetarian diets. It may also occur due to infection or poor digestion. Not alarming alone unless symptoms are present.
Dr. Kamran Suggests...
Take a STOOL EXAMINATION, PH & REDUCING SUBSTANCES Test or Take a RENAL PROFILE/KIDNEY FUNCTION TEST (RFT/KFT) Test
