Hi Sir, my child blood report shows a total count of 18,900 per cumm. Does this indicate an infection in the blood? Please advise. The typhoid range is 1:160 TO, TH.

A high total leukocyte count like 18,900 suggests infection. Typhoid titer of 1:160 is borderline and could indicate early typhoid or a past infection. Clinical symptoms and repeat testing may help clarify the diagnosis.

Take a WIDAL TEST (TUBE METHOD) Test or Take a CULTURE AND SENSITIVITY - AEROBIC (BLOOD) Test

Is this correct? He does not have any other problems except high fever of 103 and headache, but the fever repeats at four hour intervals.
