My son Widal blood test indicates that Salmonella Typhi (H) value is 1:40 dilution and is declared positive by the lab. I have learned that if it is more than 1:60, it means he is infected. I got a Widal test for typhoid yesterday and my report is S. Typhi O 1:160, S. Typhi H 1:80, S. Paratyphi AH 1:20, S. Paratyphi BH 1:20. Is it positive or negative?
