How can I tell if my phimosis is congenital or developed as an adult also does having phimosis mean I'm impotent and can congenital phimosis be treated with betamethasone cream instead of surgery

Phimosis, whether congenital (present at birth) or acquired (developing later in life), does not automatically mean you are impotent. Congenital phimosis can sometimes be treated with topical corticosteroids like betamethasone cream, but surgery may still be necessary.
