How does diabetes affect urine color?
In case you are living with diabetes insipidus then you will have large amount of light coloured urine.

Blue urine can be due to the presence of dyes. Dyes are mostly given while doing tests to evaluate how well your kidneys are functioning.

Diluted urine is usually pale yellow or transparent in colour. However, it does not give accurate results.
If you have liver problems then you might pass dark coloured urine such as cola, amber, orange and brown. You are recommended to consult with a hepatologist without any delay if you suspect having liver ailments.
Urine is usually salty and bitter.
Vitamins contain riboflavin that when consumed passes via urine and gives a bright yellow colour.
