Most people with dengue have mild or no symptoms and will get better in 1-2 weeks. Rarely, dengue can be severe and lead to death. If symptoms occur, they usually begin 4-10 days after infection and last for 2-7 days.
Currently, there are no specific treatments for dengue. However, supportive treatment for dengue is the best way to recover from internal bleeding and shock. Remember to take plenty of fluids and refrain from taking aspirin to avoid internal bleeding.

It is likely that the person became infected with dengue virus within recent weeks. If the IgG is positive but the IgM is low or negative, then it is likely that the person had an infection sometime in the past.
The only way to know that dengue has been cured is via blood tests. However, frequent thirst and urination are a few signs that your dengue is getting cured.
