Prostate surgery costs under CGHS (Central Government Health Scheme) vary depending on the type of surgery and hospital. You do need to get a referral from a government hospital before proceeding with the surgery, although the process is simplified for CGHS beneficiaries. Cost: Holmium YAG Prostate surgery: Approximately Rs 65,000 (for NABH hospitals). High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) (Robotic): Around Rs 220,000 for carcinoma prostate. Other Procedures: Costs for other types of prostate surgery (e.g., optical internal urethrotomy, core through, stone lithotripsy, bladder tumor) are also listed within the CGHS rate list
