How often should I check my blood sugar if I am prediabetic?
If you are prediabetic get yourself checked twice a year to prevent disease progression.

Yes, high blood pressure can make one suceptible to insulin resistance which increases the chance of diabetes in patients with hypertension (high blood pressure).
People with high blood sugars are more likely to have conditions that raise the risk for heart diseases. They also have high blood pressure that increases the force of blood through your arteries and can damage artery walls making one suceptible to heart disease.
There are several other factors that also increase BP, one of which is added sugars. The current high intake of added sugars increases obesity which, in turn, raises Blood pressure
Blood sugar 64 indicates low blood sugar levels which can cause hypoglycemia that can have a detrimental effect on the body.
