I am 23 years old, and my periods are usually irregular. This time, my period is delayed by 2 months and 23 days. For the past 2 days, I have had bloody brown discharge and pain in the lower left side of my stomach. I am trying to conceive, but I am really worried because I do not understand what is happening. I took a pregnancy test at 1 month and 20 days of delay, and it was negative. Please suggest what I should do.

Irregular periods and brown discharge after a long delay can happen due to hormonal imbalance or delayed ovulation, especially with irregular cycles. Since you are trying to conceive, it is important to check if you are pregnant, as your earlier test was done very early. You can book a Serum Beta hCG test now to confirm pregnancy status accurately. If pregnancy is ruled out and irregular cycles continue, a Thyroid Profile and Pelvic Ultrasound can help find the cause and plan treatment to support conception.

View allI had a day 5 frozen embryo transfer (blastocyst) on 4th July. Initially, I experienced period like cramps and pelvic discomfort for 3 to 4 days, but since then I have not had any such symptoms. I am worried about whether I am pregnant. My doctor has asked me to come on 19th July for a Beta HCG test. Can I check a home pregnancy test today to get an idea of whether I am pregnant?

My blood test report shows an hCG level of 10.4, while my urine test result is negative. What does this indicate, and what should I do next? Am I pregnant?
