I am a 29 year old male suffering from allergic rhinitis and asthma. Around three months ago, I developed severe breathlessness and underwent a chest X ray, blood test, and PFT test. The chest X ray was normal. My FEV1/FVC ratio was 81 percent, and my FEV1 was 71 percent. My blood report was also normal except for an elevated eosinophil count of 440. For the past 2.5 months, I have been using Seroflo 250/25 (4 puffs daily) and Rhine M nasal spray regularly. While I am no longer experiencing severe breathlessness, I still have some breathing discomfort, especially when lifting weights as low as 10 kg or when climbing stairs quickly. I would like to know whether I need a stronger medication or if there is an alternative treatment that might be more effective.

Eosinophils and breath test show mild asthma. Continue Seroflo, discuss dose adjustment with pulmonologist. Check allergy triggers. Do the required allergy and lung function tests.

Take a IgE Test Test or Take a AEC Test (Absolute Eosinophil Count) Test

View allMy blood report shows that I have eosinophilia, slightly higher than normal. I also have a cough (not dry), mainly in the morning and at night, especially in cold temperatures. What is the solution for this? Is it curable? Which doctor should I consult? Could there be any other underlying issue?
