I am 55 years old. My eGFR test report in December was 64, and my recent eGFR test report is 70. Any suggestions or advice?

eGFR between 60 to 89 in age greater than 50 is mild reduction, usually age related. No immediate concern unless proteinuria or creatinine worsening. Continue Renal Function Panel every 6 months.

My father is a cardiac patient (normotensive and non diabetic) and underwent CABG 3 years ago. He is currently on antianginal medications: Diltiazem 90 mg, Ranolazine 500 mg, Flavedon MR, and Monotarate 20. Today, his blood report shows: Serum creatinine: 1.28 mg/dl Serum uric acid: 7.5 mg/dl Urine RM: Proteinuria 10 mg/dl Does this indicate a kidney problem, or is it nothing to worry about?
