I am a female, and my urine test report shows the presence of pus cells covering the full field. I am experiencing pain during urination as well as persistent discomfort throughout the day. The urine color is yellow. What could be the possible cause of my symptoms?

The presence of pus cells and pain during urination suggests a urinary tract infection. Drink plenty of fluids. Take appropriate treatment after confirmation. A culture test helps find the organism causing the UTI and the right medicine to target it.

My father blood test showed a creatinine level of 9 and potassium level of 7.56, so the doctor advised immediate dialysis. He has undergone two dialysis sessions so far, one the day before yesterday and one today. The ultrasound report shows that both kidneys are normal in size and there are no stones. However, the urine report indicates elevated RBCs and pus cells. Now, the doctor is recommending a kidney biopsy. I would like to understand what the next steps should be and whether the biopsy is necessary at this stage.
