I am four weeks pregnant. As per my blood test report, my thyroid level is 10.58. I have also undergone a gall bladder operation four years ago. Could you guide me on whether I can have a healthy baby with this high thyroid level at the initial stage? Also, please advise whether my thyroid level could have any impact on my child as he grows up.

TSH more than 10 is very high and may harm baby neurodevelopment. Please start treatment urgently and repeat TSH, T3, T4 after 2 weeks. Take these tests to manage pregnancy safely.

The main findings are: TSH is about three times higher than normal, and there are deficiencies in Vitamin B and Vitamin D. Kindly guide me on which specialist to visit.
