I am having rashes on my skin, mainly on the neck, thighs, and underarms. I do not have fever, cold, cough, or any other symptom of COVID. Can skin rashes be the only symptom, and should I test for COVID? I already had COVID 6 months ago. It was mild, and I was isolated at home. Please let me know if you have an answer to the above query. Thanks in advance.

Skin rashes can occur due to allergies, heat, sweat, or mild infections, and are not always linked to COVID. COVID can rarely present with rashes alone, but it is uncommon, especially if you have no fever or respiratory symptoms. Since you had COVID 6 months back, the chance of reinfection with only rash is low. Apply calamine lotion, wear loose cotton clothes, and stay hydrated. If you develop fever or cough, you can book a COVID RT PCR test. Otherwise, monitor at home.

My husband has taken a COVID test three times over the last three days at two different labs. Two tests came back positive with CT values of 28 and 32, while one test was negative.
