My mother is 57 years old and has been receiving treatment at AIIMS Hospital for the past 17 years. She was fine until a month ago, but since then, she has developed a dry cough. She has taken all the medicines prescribed by the AIIMS doctor, but there has been no improvement. Her blood report is normal. The cough is not continuous, but when it starts, it becomes unstoppable for a while. Because of the cough, she also feels pain in her throat. She is taking a cough syrup called Grilinctus.
