I developed a dry cough on 13 May and had a fever of 100.1F on 14 May, which continued on 15 and 16 May. I took paracetamol 650 mg every 6 hours, but the fever kept returning. On 17 May, I had no fever, but on 18 May, I again had a fever of 100.1F in the evening. On 19 May, I had no fever. I have been taking Muceder 600 and using an inhaler twice a day. Are these medicines suitable for a COVID patient? I got an RTPCR test on 16 May, and my report came on 19 May. How should I count my COVID infection days or isolation period? I do not have a sore throat, and I can still smell, taste, and feel hungry

Isolation is counted from symptom onset, 13 May is Day 1. Muceder and inhalers help with cough/congestion, but antiviral or supportive treatment depends on symptoms.

View allMy husband has taken a COVID test three times over the last three days at two different labs. Two tests came back positive with CT values of 28 and 32, while one test was negative. I am very confused about these results and cannot determine whether he is actually positive or negative. Please advise.

In an emergency situation, I accompanied a boy to the hospital after he fell from a building. Five hours later, he was declared COVID 19 positive. We were shocked because his main issues were trauma related, with loss of consciousness and inability to use his hands and legs. How reliable are RTPCR and Rapid Antigen Test results in such situations? How does this affect people like us who were asymptomatic but in close contact? Can an asymptomatic person spread COVID 19, and if yes, for how many days are they contagious?

I was tested for COVID 19 on the 3rd and 7th day after coming in contact with a COVID positive person. Both tests were negative, although I had a bad sore throat at the time. On the 10th day, I experienced reduced sense of smell and a fever of 99.4 degrees F in the afternoon. I started following a COVID protocol, and today is my 13th day. I no longer have a sore throat, but sometimes I still get a fever of 99.4 degrees F. When should I test again, and how long will it take for me to fully recover?
