I had a baby 1.5 years ago via normal forceps delivery. After delivery, I lost significant weight, about 12 kg compared to my pre-pregnancy weight (from 60 kg to 46 kg). Even after weaning, I am unable to gain weight. I also have a movable lump in my breast and had a biopsy done. The doctor did not find anything concerning in the report. Could you please suggest possible reasons for my inability to gain weight and any steps I should take?

If your breast lump biopsy is benign, that is reassuring. Unintentional weight loss post weaning may point to thyroid imbalance or poor nutrient absorption. Check thyroid, iron, and vitamin D. Stress and sleep also play a major role.

I am struggling to gain weight consistently. Even if I manage to gain a little, I end up losing it quickly. I have done all the necessary blood tests. Could you please recommend a good dietitian to help me with a proper nutrition plan.
